Flashback

Classmates:  This story goes back a long time ago, 1945, 2 of our 1960 classmates witnessed a airplane crash.  They were Melvin Preston and Barry McAnulty.  The article doesn't mention Barry McAnulty's  name but they were playing together at this time.  I talked to Melvin about this, he told me that the man that owns the property now, will move the plaque closer to Hanover Street and will put a spot light on it and he was going to name a new street they had cut through after the pilot (Andrews Lane).  Hopefully, this will happened when they began construction soon again.  Please read the article.  Thanks, Richard Click on this link to see the story.
